2010 is Already Crazy!

Phew, 2010 has already left me out of breath and running around like a mad man. I am really going to have to be on my toes this year and push myself way harder then I ever have. But I feel ready for it!

I recently did an interview with my good homie Tarah over at Wallfarmers.ca Make sure to check out all the other amazing interviews and features!

My show at Ayden Gallery has finally come and I'm just getting my bags packed for Friday evening. I can't wait to see some of my old Vancouver friends and meet some of the other amazing artists showing that night. Here's a reworking I did of the flyer image. This will be there for sale as a giclee print and I think it'll be about 45 inches.

Lonely Traveler

As I mentioned in my last post I am going be doing some exciting things with Redef Records and Damu the Fudgemunk. Check out their blog where they recently mentioned my interview!

Something I have been working on lately is doing more female images. There is a ton of roughs in my sketchbook but here's one I developed into a more finished look. Let me know if you're feeling it. It's been a challenge to work the girls in with my style.

Say Goodbye to What

Another thing I have been trying to bring into my work is doing some photo manipulation. Luckily I have a very talented photographer friend, Jennifer Kennedy who lets me rock over her photos. Hopefully I'll be doing some more of these because I find them a nice change of pace and can lead to so many different looks.

Here's a couple ink and watercolour pages from my moleskin.

Happy New Years!!! Hope 2010 is a positive one for you.

Feathered Eyes

Been busy with a couple projects lately... more on them soon. I managed to fit in a bit of time for these though.

Feathered Eyes

Staying Home Tonight

Staying home tonight and resisting the urge to throw down some liquid gold. Drawing and painting instead. Guess that's almost as good.

I like music videos. Especially Division East vids.

Basic & Messy

Not sure about this one. Think I went to far into it without thinking about design enough.

Always into new Blue Scholars. Check for Angry Woebots doing his thing in it.

It Got Messy

Putting Pencil to Paper

It's been nice to have a bit of time to get back into de ol' sketchbook. These are from the past couple days with lots more to come... both finished and rough. This weekend will be spent getting pieces ready for The Green Party on May 17th.

Also the crew at The Find magazine just released Issue 3! I did the cover for issue 2 but they've really stepped up on this issue as far as illustration duties. Check out my man Francis Vallejo He did some amazing illustrations for this issue. He kills it every time.
